HEALTH IN TRAVEL INSURANCE
COVERAGE
- expenses on urgent medical help;
- expenses on the Insured repatriation for further hospital treatment, or on the body repatriation;
- expenses for the loss or delay of the luggage;
- expenses on the presence of one of the hurt Insured relative beside him;
- expenses on the necessary stay abroad of the Insured after leaving the hospital;
- expenses on the repatriation of the minors accompaning the Insured;
- expenses on the Insured early return to the Republic of Albania;
- expenses on the substitution of the lost passport and travel documents;
- expenses on the telephone bills during the Insured stay in hospital;
- reimbursable monetary help.
CLAIM DOCUMENTS
- the original insurance policy
Urgent medical help (available even for other cases):
- complete medical documentation confirming the medical emergency;
- diadnosis and stay in hospital report;
- original invoices of the services offered by the foreign health entities and, medical expenses;
- documents from the attendant and the hospital for the proclaimed and treated illnesses before the journey..
Accidents including death by the same cause:
- official notification or the certificate issued by the foreign authorities about the accident, circumtance, damages and consequences;
- in case of accidental death of the Insured, the medical-legal certificate of death, and the autopsy report;
- death certificate;
- valid heritage decision.
Luggage damages:
- original declaration completed according the name defined on the policy from the kompetent authorities;
- lost objects invoice, if any;
- in case of technical equipments damages, customs certificate for export out of the Republic of Albania;
- documents verifying the luggage’s delay or loss.
Death from acute illness:
- diagnosis report for the necessity acute illness urgent medical treatment, the description of the medical treatment and the patient’s conditions during the stay in hospital, and the autopsy report;
- death certificate;
- valid heritage decision.
- documents from the attendant or the hospital for the proclaimed and treated illnesses before the journey.
Permanent invalidity:
- the medical certificate determining the invalidity level.
