GENERAL DIRECTOR’S SPEECH
Greetings!
I would like to thank you for finding some time to get introduced to Albsig S.C Insurance Company. At the same time, I would like to express my gratitude and respect for having this communication opportunity with You.
Insurance Company “Alb-Siguracion” S.C. (shortly Albsig) started its operation in the Albanian Insurance Market on Septermber 2004 and currently, on its forth business year, is an consolidated and solid entity, powerful and operationally efficient, worth of your respect.
Albsig operates in the entire territory of Albania and starting from April, 2007 the structures of Albsig operate even in the neighbouring country of Macedonia, a significant fact and maybe unique, when an entity with less than 3 years of operation, realizes the regional expansion.
To the Albsig structures contribute over 180 employees (70 out of which are employees in Macedonia), and a considerable number of people are integrated as agents in the sales network.
From year to year, the activity dynamics of Albsig excperiencies only growth, fact that is represented also in its market positioning, as below:
- In Albania, from 5.3% at the end of 2004, to approximately 9 % on 31 .03.2008;
- In Macedonia, the first end of the year of its activity ranks Albsig in the fourth position in the market with approximately 8.8 %.
Actually, Albsig possesses a capital equal to EUR 4 750 thousand (Eur 750 thousand in Macedonia) and Eur 3 000 thousands as technical reserves (approx. Eur 1 400 thousands in Macedonia), potencials that together with the support of prestiguous companies such as: Hannover Re, Munich Re, Lloyd’s and Coris, enable full coverage of potential risks and constitute a permanent guarantee for over 50 thousand clients that work with us and for thousands and thousands which are welcomed to cooperate with us.
These achievements up to now, are result of a serious evaluation and of the support from the shareholders, devotion of the management staff and employees in all the operational areas, and above all the client’s trust toward the company, I would like to express my deepest respect and boundless gratitude to all the above mentioned acting people, who with patience and passion promoted such an achievement, named Albsig.
