ENGENEERING RISKS INSURANCE

The object of the insurance coverage are “all engeneering risks”, which cause damages or material losses during the construction or realization of projects such as:

- houses and residential buildings, non residential buildings objects (offices, hospitals, theatres and other social-cultural objects) manufactories, factories, energetic objects (TEC, and H/C), streets, railways, airports, bridges, dikes, subways, watering systems, drainage system, canals, ports etc., that are possessed legally by the Insured, as owner, investor or implementer, in function of his activity.

- Damages or loss caused during the preparative works on the construction place, the machineries placement and reparation or other construction equipments, temporary edifices or the employees accommodation and for depositing the materials on the construction place etc;

- Machineries loss and damage and other equipments used for reparation and construction;

- Damages caused directly to the health and to the properties of the third parties from the reparation/construction activities that are the insured civil responsibilities determined by the court.

Insurance coverage, to preserve the above investments, is made through insurance policies:

• CAR or Construction All Risks, for construction projects;
• EAR or Erection All Risks where in the concrete project predominates the value of the machineries to be fixed over the value of the all project;
• MI or Machinery Insurance for all types of machineries, plants, mechanical equipment and devices (in brief, Machineries that have successfully passed the admission tests and are working or (laid up to be cleaned or to be controlled) inside the area where they work.

CLAIM DOCUMENTS

• original insurance policy
• the notification of the insurer within 48 hours from finding out the damage
• the damaged, destroyed, or loss objects list;
• the Ministry of Order organs copy if it is needed
• evidences of the damage happening
