INCORPORATION
The Insurance Company ALBSIG S.C is registered as a legal entity with the Court Decision No. 30756, dated 09.01.2004, by the First Level Court, Tirana.
It is licenced with the Permission to begin operating the activity, which is constituent of the official Authorisation No. 10/1, dated 10.09.2004, with the Decision of the Insurance Supervisory Commission, No. 45, dated 10.09.2004.
Albsig S.C is incorporated by the capital merging of well-known and reputed persons in the Albanian business area.
The nominal value of a share at the moment of registration as a legal entity was 1.000 ALL.
During the first years of the activity the subscribed capital structure has changed and its value has increased substantially.
The licence authorizes the processing of the insurance operations as a non-life operator according to the insurance groups listed below:
- Group no. 1 “Accidents”
- Group no. 2 “Diseases”
- Group no. 3 “Vehicles” (different from those moving on rails)
- Group no. 4 “Vehicles moving on rails”
- Group no. 5 “Aircrafts”
- Group no. 6 “Vessels”
- Group no. 7 “Goods in transit”
- Group no. 8 “Conflagration and Natural Perils”
- Group no. 9 “Other demages of property”
- Group no. 10 “Civil Liabilities from the usage of vehicles”
- Group no. 11 “Civil Liabilities from the usage of Aircrafts”
- Group no. 12 “Civil Liabilities from the usage of Vessels”
- Group no. 13 “General Civil Liabilities”
- Group no. 15 “Guarantees”
